Since obtaining PhD in Electrochemistry in 1994, I have been through many things, such as post-doctoral research work using STM to study atomic level electrodeposition of Cd on Ag(111) surface at UIUC (Urbana-Champaign at University of Illinois), lifetime free-lance preaching, CEO of TheoLogos Publications and PyraPOD Global Inc, former salesman of diamond tools for Superprem Industries, former CEO of DiaSolid Kitchen & Bath, finishing carpenter, working for CRE Green, a solar company in Kelowna, BC. Now I have started this new business along with Richard Nelson, designing and manufacturing PyraPODs. After all these experiences, my life motto is this: sharp mind must combine with skilful hands. With my wife Margaret we have three kids - Riley, Grace and Anita.
My apology for poor positioning of screen capture and sound control – I need to mute others when one is talking. First time doing all of this. That starts our Truman Show for our community and later on for the whole world! Take a look at the recorded video below, short first and then the…
We bumped into something today. It spit out a recorded video with a Two-Man Show, the right kind of the Truman Show. Just watch: A lot fun!
A lot of fun today with picking beans (with some beans in golden color), digging potatoes with two sweet potatoes, and most importantly coming back to the CAD drawing board to walk through the next step – converting existing single layer greenhouse into double layer SolaRoof bubble greenhouse. More details on a better bubble generator…
The possibility of converting the existing 50 gallon barrels to soap water tanks for the SolaRoof system. It turns out that there are at least 3 full barrels there, buried half way in the ground, that we can use. There is also a half barrel place on the ground that we can also use. Two…
You can watch the following video right away or browse down for reasons why we start this DIY project. When Richard Nelson, the inventor of SolaRoof, discussed with me how to design the smallest form of SolaRoof, I came up with a special name for it, PyraPOD. It literally means “Fire in the middle of…
Fresh Start!
OK, we have started this website from scratch to showcase and educate the general public about PyraPOD, the smallest version of SolaRoof, to capture and store solar thermal energy in a pyramid structure. Stay tuned for more contents!
