PyraFARM represents refined and simplified version of large scale greenhouses that Richard Nelson constructed in early 90’s. Beside simplifying the structure and double-layer cover designs, we add this time a full set of aquaponics fish tanks, mobile grow beds and work platforms to the inside, making it an indoor and all-climate greenhouse that is easy to set up and fast to produce vegitables and fish. Yesterday and today we started a new line of PyraPOD, we call PyraTOPE, which functions as a community garden or tourist center but can float on water in the emergency of water flooding or tsunami. The under-water portion is air tight sealed. The inside is equiped with aqua-culture grow system, living units, off-grid power system, various recreational facilities including diving right into the sea or deep lake from the bottom.
